Morning all!
Here at The Place Between we’re going to do a thing called Motivational Mondays. We can all agree that Mondays are terrible, right? Right. (Except for full-time freelancers, the one group of people who tend to welcome Mondays)
To help you start your week with joy and happiness and cuteness and generally things that are not-terrible, every Monday we’re going to have a Motivational Monday post. It might be a picture of a cute baby animal, or a heartwarming story about humanity, or a funny joke.
Motivational Monday posts might be timely information, or might be something from HuffPost Good News in 2013.
But I hope that when you look at a Motivational Monday post, you briefly think to yourself “this isn’t the worst day ever.”
Without further ado, our inaugural Motivational Monday (hedgehogs and kittens and Tom Felton, oh my!):
- Everyone remember the book 1984? This teacher implements a 1984-style dictatorship on her students every year, and last year’s group of seniors successfully rebelled and beat the system.
- Here’s a video of a kitten meeting a hedgehog (with pictures, for those of you who don’t want to watch a video) (but you should definitely watch the video).
- This picture of Tom Felton and Rupert Grint giving us friendship goals courtesy of the Everything Harry Potter Tumblr.
- And finally, a bunch of cute animals. I had this saved on Pinterest and the source website is down, so I can’t link you, but enjoy it anyway
Have a great week everyone!
-M
(Psst! Do you have a good Motivational Monday contribution? Link it in the comments, or send it via the Contact page. I’ll credit you, and link your blog or your Myspace or your Live Journal or whatever.)
